The Diploma of Remedial Massage course is designed to teach you the knowledge and practical skills to be a remedial massage therapist. In the Diploma of Remedial Massage you will learn skills such as: Remedial and Sports massage, Deep tissue massage, Relaxation massage, Joint Loosening, Stretching, Injury and Clinical Assessment, Strength and Conditioning as well as human movement assessment techniques. Our training is designed to make you job ready, meaning you can start as soon as you graduate. The Evolve College teaching approach trains therapists to understand the anatomical body to a depth whereby they can determine variations from normal health status. The focus is then placed on using a combination of specific musculoskeletal assessment techniques and specialist hand skills to apply a remedial treatment aimed at addressing the cause. The HLT50215 Diploma of Remedial Massage is a nationally recognised qualification that has been designed to give students theoretical competencies and practical application of remedial massage. By studying this course with TrainSmart Australia you will be guided through hands-on learning in a clinical environment under the guidance of our professional training team. You will be introduced to various styles of massage techniques while understanding their effects on muscles, nerves and overall health and well-being. If you're a WA resident, you may be eligible to study this course at a heavily subsidised rate through the Lower Fees, Local Skills subsidy. Students must meet the eligibility requirements and agree to the mandatory attendance requirements to apply for the Lower Fees, Local Skills subsidy.
