This website is produced by the Western Australian Department of Training and Workforce Development (the Department). It provides access to information about Jobs and Skills WA.
The Department is committed to ensuring that the information on this website is available to the widest possible audience. If you find that part of this website does not meet your accessibility needs, please email email@example.com and we will attempt to rectify the problem, and provide you with any information you require in an alternative format.
What is accessibility?
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has produced the Website Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0) to assist website designers, developers and administrators in producing accessible pages and content. There are three levels of accessibility compliance; Level A, AA and AAA.
The accessibility features currently available include:
- increasing or decreasing the text size (via the users' browser);
- 'skip to' links and a logical tab order to navigate using assistive technologies; and
- printer-friendly content.
Alternative formats for content
If we have produced a document or other content in a format that is not accessible to you, please contact the Department and we will be happy to discuss your needs and, where possible, provide an alternative format of the content.
Languages other than English
As a WA State Government agency, the Department is committed to ensuring that people who are not able to communicate effectively in written and/or spoken Standard Australian English are able to access the information and services we provide. A range of supports, including interpreter and translation services, are available to assist — please visit the Office of Multicultural Interests website, to find out more.
Problems with this website's performance or functionality should be reported via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Other ways to contact the Department are provided on our Contact us page.
You can also contact us via email to email@example.com with any questions relating to the accessibility of this website, or to request alternative formats of information.

This website uses PDF (Portable Document Format) files, also known as Adobe files to make publications available online. To open, print and/or save these files, you will need to use Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not already have this tool, you can download it free from Adobe.
Your internet browser has the ability to make the text larger or smaller on this site (or on any website you visit) by changing the settings on your computer. To check which internet browser is installed on your machine:
- open your internet browser;
- select Help from the top menu of your browser;
- select About (followed by your browser name) from the drop down list; and
- the screen that comes up will display which browser and version you are using.
To print content from this website, simply use the print function of your internet browser. The print function is usually located under the File menu of your browser.
When a web page is printed, it will print the title and location of the page as well as the content. Navigation menus and banners are automatically removed for your convenience to improve readability on paper.
The default contrast for printing is black text on a white background. Any unnecessary images should be removed. It is recommended you use the print preview function of your browser if it is available.
You can search this site to find the information you require, using keywords in the search functionality.
There is also an option to visit the whole of WA Government search.
