Any individual who is involved with the sale, supply or service of alcohol in licensed premises is required, by law in Australia, to hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate. Here's how to get yours!

This short course skill set will teach you how to sell, serve or supply alcohol responsibly. Successful completion of this skill set provides credit towards qualifications in tourism, travel, hospitality and holiday parks and resorts in the  Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package, if you wish to do further study.

This short course will give you the skills and the ability to engage in the sale or service of alcohol responsibly. It is a legal requirement to hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate if you wish to work in a licensed venue and you are selling or serving alcohol. You must be 18 to sell or serve alcohol.

Achievement of this unit  provides credit towards qualifications in the SIT Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package.

 

This one-day course covers the specifics of dealing with the sale and service of alcohol including local accord agreements.

The course will be delivered face to face by an experienced industry professional and covers real life scenarios. The legal responsibilities and duty of care of organisations and individuals is investigated and group discussion is encouraged.

This is a nationally recognised course and contributes to a Certificate II in Hospitality.

Whether you’re waiting tables, behind the bar, or working at a hotel, this course will give you valuable information on preparing and serving standard drink sizes; enforcing house policies regarding the consumption of alcohol; ensuring customers are over 18 years old. You’ll also learn about assisting customers to drink within appropriate limits; assessing alcohol affected customers; refusing service to intoxicated patrons and minors; handling conflict situations – plus much more!
