Ready for a career working on commercial vessels?

This skill set reflects the skills and knowledge required by a Seafarer who is in charge of the Integrated Rating on a ship and responsible for implementing the planned maintenance system and maintaining relevant stores.

You'll gain skills and knowledge related to implementing a vessel planned maintenance system; managing stores for a planned maintenance system; preventing, controlling and fighting fires on board a vessel (advanced firefighting); and supervising a crew.

Please note that before undertaking this skill set, you will need to have completed the Certificate III in Maritime Operations (Integrated Rating) course code MAR30220.
