If you would like to work as a meat inspector or meat safety officer in meat processing establishments, this is the qualification for you!

Through this nationally recognised qualification you'll gain important job ready skills such as how to perform post-mortem inspection of food animals and in some cases ante-mortem inspection to ensure that meat is safe for human or pet consumption, in line with relevant Australian Standards.

You'll also acquire  specialist technical skills and knowledge about food animal disease and conditions.

TSA offers a Qualification in AMP40522 Certificate IV in Meat Safety Inspection . This qualification covers work activities undertaken by meat inspectors in meat processing enterprises. It covers the duties of a meat inspector performing post-mortem inspection and, in some cases, ante-mortem inspection. TSA deliver training, coaching and assessment within the workplace to benefit both the employer and the participant.
