The nationally recognised Certificate III in Roof Tiling is the industry accepted apprenticeship qualification for roof tilers. Learn the skills and knowledge you need to work on a range of domestic, commercial and industrial roof tiling projects, and become trades qualified!

You'll gain the skills and knowledge to tile regular and irregular roof shapes; erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding; work safely on roofs and at heights; carry out measurements and calculations; read and interpret technical and construction plans and specifications; repair and renovate roofs; use roof tiling tools and equipment; repair and replace damaged roofing components; and more!

This qualification provides a trade outcome in roof tiling for residential and commercial construction work. The qualification is delivered under Australian Apprenticeship arrangements. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work. The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context.
