You'll gain a range of skills and knowledge; including performing complex measurements and working to quality standards. You'll learn how to perform grinding and milling operations; undertake tasks related to fitting, assembly, manufacture, installation, modification, testing, fault finding, maintenance and service of mechanical equipment; different types of machinery; and the use of machine tools. Some learners within this group may already hold a relevant MEM Manufacturing and Engineering Training Package Certificate II or III qualifications. These learners have acquired competencies through their previous qualifications and can use credit recognition to streamline their progress towards completing this higher-level qualification.
