K.L MILLS & N.A MILLS T/A NAM Training facilitate apprenticeships in MEM31922 Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Surface Finishing). These are delivered by a combination of on and off the job training and assessment at the apprentices’ workplace in employer provided venues. Units of competency are selected to meet workplace and industry standards. Unit selection can be tailored to suit abrasive blasting/industrial painting, anodising/electroplating and/or powder coating. Training is delivered face to face, one on one or groups of apprentices, depending on apprentices’ and workplace needs. Our trainer negotiates the training and assessment arrangements with enterprise representatives who are responsible for current work skills training in the workplace, and with site management officials where applicable. Some of the apprenticeship may be achieved by formal skills recognition processes, such as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) where suitable. Apprentices may take 6-48 months to complete the apprenticeship.
