The Certificate III in Business (Medical Administration) qualifies you for work as a medical administrator in a healthcare setting such as a doctor’s surgery, specialist clinic, hospital, or dental clinic in administration. This is a key part of any healthcare operation, as it's the 'behind the scenes' work that keeps things running smoothly!

You'll learn how to prepare and develop business documents including reports, spreadsheets and presentations, plan and organise work and schedules, workplace safety, communication and problem solving; critical thinking; teamwork; and admin processes such as purchasing and finances.

The course also provides specific training in medical terminology and managing patient records; processing medial accounts; controlling stocks and supplies, and patient confidentiality.

You will study business office units alongside specialised medical units that will equip you with the skills to meet the current needs of the medical industry.
