With this course you can start a career in the wool industry as a wool handler or an agriculture assistant, and gain the skills and knowledge to handle wool and assist in a shearing shed.
You'll gain skills in penning sheep; performing board duties; assisting with pressing wool; and preparing sheep for shearing and crutching. Also learn about wool types and grades; first aid; effective communication and teamwork;' responding to emergencies; and safety in the workplace.
