For those with good numeracy skills and an eye for detail, the practical nature of working in a warehouse can be an excellent career.

This qualification trains you for ensuring accurate inventory and logistical data in the supply chain. It is an entry level qualification to get you started in your warehousing supply chain career. You'll get a range of skills and a broad overview of the warehousing environment through all aspects of the supply chain. You'll learn routines and procedures to ensure freight is delivered in a quick and efficient way.

This qualification may leads to roles such as warehouse assistance, freight handler, or postal sorting officer.

This course will help you to become skilled in tasks which allow the operational flow of activities within the supply chain that are carried out in accordance with best industry practice through routines, procedures and taking some responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.

Throughout this course you will learn about industry relevant communication, understanding workplace processes and procedures, teamwork, and forward-thinking and problem solving.

Upon successful completion, you will have the knowledge and skills required to work in the logistics industry, as well as a nationally recognised qualification. Recognition of Prior Learning is available for suitable candidates.

This course is offered as a combination of theory and hands-on training that will either be provided to you within your current workplace or at one of our training facilities.

This is a general qualification for the Warehousing & Storage Industry. It involves a range of tasks involving known routines and procedures and taking some accountability for the quality of work outcomes. This qualification is delivered under Australian Apprenticeship arrangements. No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication. There are no pre-requisites for this qualification.
