The skills in this qualification must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State/Territory legislation, Australian standards and industry codes of practice.

This qualification provides participants with the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to secure entry level employment across various hospitality sectors including restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops. This qualification can be delivered as a School-Based and Aboriginal School-Based Traineeship program delivered with a combination of on-and-off-the-job training in the Perth Metro and Peel Regions.
