This Certificate II program aims to provide learners with basic industry specific skills and knowledge and includes a mandatory work placement of 120 hours which is coordinated by Amana Living Training Institute. This industry level entry level training course can be a pathway into further studies such as CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support through a traineeship. The training is delivered face to face at our training venue in Rivervale WA, over 3-6 months with support tutorials, post course written assessments and on the job training/assessment conducted during work placement. Students will complete units such as CHCAGE001 Facilitate the empowerment of older people, HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTINF001 Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures. Prior to placement, students will need to provide current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations and a NDIS Worker Screening. Students enrolling into this course must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident residing in WA, possess suitable English language, literacy and numeracy skills and provide photo identification. Students may be eligible for state funding, eligibility criteria applies. Concession rate $261.84 and non concession rate of $699.96.
