This qualification addresses the specific legislative responsibilities of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners and is required for national registration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia.

Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd. (KAMS) offers annual training for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners in the Kimberley region of WA. HLT40213 Certificate IV in ATSI Primary Health Care Practice consists of multiple 2 week study blocks at our campus in Broome as well as local clinical placements over the course of 10 - 12 months.
