Through this qualification, you'll gain the skills and knowledge required to perform a range of glass and glazing job roles including safely manufacturing, processing, moving and installing various types of glass and handling glazing materials and components.

You'll learn how to assemble and install a range of glazing products for both commercial and residential use. Skills you'll gain include how to safely cut, handle, move, and install glass using different tools and machinery. Depending on where you do the course, you may be able to choose specialist units such as glazing, designed glazing, glass processing, construction work, business administration, and computer-aided design (CAD) technologies.

This qualification describes the skills and knowledge required to perform a range of glass and glazing job roles, including safely manufacturing, processing, moving and installing various types of glass and handling glazing materials and components.
Job Roles
This qualification reflects vocational outcomes for those performing glass processing or glazing functions in residential and commercial operations and could include manufacturing, processing and installation. Job roles would be in a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, where some discretion and judgement is required in the selection of equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints
Pathways into the Qualification
Credit can be granted towards this qualification by those who have completed MSF20413 Certificate II in Glass and Glazing.

3 year Apprenticeship.

As part of the state government Lower fees, local skills program, through to 31 December 2025 you will only pay half the tuition fees (plus resource fee) capped at $1,200; or $400 if you are aged 15-24 or eligible for a concession.’
