The Certificate I in Gaining Access to Training and Employment (GATE) is available for adults (18 years and over only) and you will need to attend an interview as part of the application process to check the course is right for you.

This course has been designed to assist learners, who have been marginalised or disadvantaged in some way, to transition into vocational pathways and to develop the skills and abilities to manage their own development. 

North Regional TAFE (NR TAFE) can deliver this course at different times of the year subject to demand. It can be fully customised to meet the needs of industry or community organisations upon request at any NR TAFE campus.
