Training for any required gap units can be scheduled to align with workplace operations and may be conducted at the employer’s place of business if required.

The courses cover topics such as:

  • Safety on the work site
  • Safe handling of materials
  • Plant and machinery operation
  • Excavation
  • Levelling
  • Reading plans
  • Earthworks
  • Communication
  • Locate and protect underground services.

All delivery is done off campus at clients' sites or specialised resourced locations in the metro area

This Qualification isonly available as a Traineeship. To study as a Trainee, you must be employed in a training contract by an appropriate organisation. Please see the Apprenticeships/Traineeships section for more information.
