If you wish to pursue a career in the nursery, landscape, parks and gardens, turf, arboriculture or floriculture industries, this Diploma qualification will help you gain the skills you need.. Students will learn about plant nutrition, plant health, propagation and recognition of plants, landscape design, products and services, and business management and administration.

Equipped with your Diploma you could work in roles such as:

  • Nursery manager
  • Garden centre operator
  • Parks and gardens manger
  • Horticultural consultant
  • Landscape designer

Completingan additional two units with theDiploma of Horticulturewill see you gain a dual qualification, incorporatingthe Diploma of Conservation and Land Management, talk to staff when you enrol.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. It is however recommended that applicants have at leastthree to fiveyears experience within the industry,or have completed Certificate IV in Horticulture orConservation and Land Management.
