You will learn skills on fixing standard plasterboard sheets to walls and ceilings, fixing battens and mixing plastering compounds. You will also learn how to work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry, plan and organise work, carry out measurements and calculations and apply Occupational Health and Safety requirements. You will need to be a registered apprentice with the State Training Authority or undergoing a Trade Skills Recognition process.

Not all study modes are offered at all campuses. Please check with your local campus for study modes and elective units offered.
