An advanced qualification for people interested in working in the aquaculture sector of the seafood industry at a management level. Learn a wide range of technical skills and/or managerial, coordination and planning skills which may include production planning, managing stock nutrition, facility design, business planning and managing staff.

You will gain knowledge and skills in:

  • Developing and implementing breeding strategy
  • Planning ecologically sustainable practices
  • Managing stock health
  • Developing a stock production plan
  • Planning and designing a water supply and disposal system
  • Applying stock culture systems
  • Managing small business
  • Managing staff
  • Developing a business plan, and
  • Developing marketing strategies.
