This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to cut hair using clippers or scissors, to shampoo, condition and rinse hair and dry and style hair using brushes, combs, rollers and other equipment. You will also learn skills to operate a cash register and computer, perform reception duties such as answering telephone calls, making appointments, and write up client record cards.

Off the job training can be delivered one day a week for two years or in blocks of 2 or 4 weeks over a two year period
