This qualification reflects the role of individuals who provide employment services to both job seekers and employers. They use specialised knowledge to support individual job seekers in locating, securing and maintaining employment, and to assist employers in meeting their recruitment needs. It is delivered as a traineeship with a combination of on-the-job training and class-based tuition. You will be able to vary some electives to suit the job role and outcomes desired in the workplace and assist with your career progression.

The CHC4115 Certificate IV in Employment Services is a large qualification consisting of 14 units. This qualification covers workers who provide a range of programs and services to individuals and groups of clients and employers to support them in locating, securing and maintaining suitable employment. Workers at this level: Need an understanding of access and equity issues including cultural diversity, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and disability issues and to work with local communities in the provision of services. The qualification has a heavy focus on Government contracted services.

This course can be packaged with the CHC41215 Certificate IV in Career Development, completing two qualifications for the price of one. Training delivered on the job if required, using online resources or workbooks, coaching and assessment in student workplaces, or in locations across WA as negotiated directly with the student and their employer where relevant.  Publicly funded traineeships are available for new workers through Jobs and Skills WA. Existing workers may also undertake this qualification through a traineeship as a fee for service student.
