This qualification is suitable for a range of plant operators including scraper, grader, front-end load, excavator, haul truck, water cart and many more. This Traineeship program comprises of both on and off-the -job training and assessing.  DTE works with the employer to schedule on-site assessment and to gather evidence through a project logbook. Our short scheduled theory blocks will support the employer to manage and plan resources for upcoming projects. Our regular in-house courses offer the employer more flexibility and the ability of DTE to meet demands ensures trainees completes the qualification within specified time-frames. Trainees are offered one-to-one support and regular site visits are conducted throughout the traineeship.

The Assessor is accessible through face to face consults, email or phone to both the trainee and employer. DTE offers recognised prior learning and offers credit transfers for current units of competencies held.
