Joondalup Jobs and Skills Centre team supporting local jobseekers at Midland Jobs Fair!

North Metropolitan TAFE's Joondalup Jobs and Skills Centre team had a very busy day recently at the Midland Gate Jobs Fair, helping jobseekers. The jobs fair, held at Midland Gate Shopping Centre on Thursday 27 Sept from 4–8 pm, attracted over 700 jobseekers – a big turnout! With a great range of jobs on offer, it was definitely worth the wait in the long queues – one of the big employers, retailer KMart, interviewed 50 people on the night. Other employers with jobs available included Best and Less, City Beach Surf Shop, JB HiFi, Miss Mauds, Pandora, Wendy's and Rebel Sports.

Jobs and Skills Centres are a one-stop-shop for advice and information about training, careers and jobs. All services are free. They also run a range of free workshops to help get you job ready, and offer individual career development support to help plan your career path.
