Business accelerator program now available.
Pilbara entrepreneurs are invited to sign up for a series of free online learning programs to upskill in modern approaches to grow their businesses.
Following the online learning, participants will present their ideas to a local audience of industry, community and government representatives at an online 'pitch night'. Pitch night winners will then present at a 'Regional Pitchfest' in Port Hedland later in the year.
Funded through the State Government's Regional New Industries Fund, Launchpad is a program developed by the Pilbara Regional Innovation Network which is led by Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce and The WEB Business Hub.
Launchpad is designed as a business accelerator program to help Pilbara businesses move to the next level, creating jobs and driving diversification in the region. Participants will work with experts to increase their capacity, capability and exposure with a focus on business growth. The program will target existing small and medium sized enterprises and new businesses from across the region.
"This initiative will give small and medium sized enterprises help to overcome challenges of being in the region, invaluable exposure and training.” said Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan, "Through supporting innovation and advancing small businesses, the McGowan Government is working to ensure the long-term prosperity and diversity of Pilbara communities."
Registrations are being taken via local chambers of commerce.
