Under community services, you can specialise your studies in the areas of mental health, drugs and alcohol abuse, family and domestic violence, housing, adolescent development, or parenting and relationships to get a competitive edge for securing employment in this fast growing industry. These qualifications are also excellent pathways into further study or university. 

The local government qualifications can set you up for a career in areas such as a range of roles in local council or even as a park ranger.
