You'll gain skills and knowledge in taking and developing photographs to create commercial, fine art, landscape, advertorial and editorial, documentary, portrait and stock photo images; managing media assets; and composing, capturing, processing and enhancing images using various techniques and the latest industry software and programs. You'll also learn about production of digital images; camera techniques; lighting, studio and location work; plus get skills in business, publishing systems, marketing and photographic illustration as well as understanding and responding to client needs and aesthetics. You will also have the opportunity to gain specialised skills in industrial and scientific photography, fine art photography or photojournalism.

Our lecturers are industry professionals with ‘real world’ experience. You will develop a thorough understanding of photo design and theory around the changing nature of the creative industries, while developing your own style.
