If you would like to get qualified as a Nail Technician, working in a salon or specialist retail setting, this is the course for you! 

This course is very "hands on" and you will gain real work skills and experience including customer service and client consultation on nail care products and services. The course covers skin and nail anatomy and know how to perform manicures, pedicures, natural and artificial nail treatments using a range of products and equipment. It also includes creating and applying nail art.

The Certificate II in Nail Technology is a nationally recognised training qualification and part of the official Beauty Training Package.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals employed as nail technicians to provide manicure and pedicare services, including the application of nail art and acrylic and gel nail enhancements.

Students will gain a range of well-developed technical and customer service skills where discretion and judgement is required and are responsible for their own outputs. This includes client consultation on nail care products and services. Nail technicians may also be self-employed and responsible for managing their own nail station.

Our Certificate III in Nail Technology training program is for individuals that are under-represented in the workforce and face barriers to mainstream training arrangements, are unemployed or underemployed and would like to obtain the relevant skills and knowledge to become a qualified Nail Technician. Students will learn how to provide manicure and pedicare services, including the application of nail art and acrylic and gel nail enhancements. They will also learn key competencies to help them start their own nail technician business.

This qualification provides a pathway to work as a Nail Technician or Spa Manicurist in any business that performs nail services.
