The Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (SIR30116) will assist you to develop new skills and knowledge relating to pharmacy products and customer service. This qualification also aims to build your understanding and, application of pharmacy protocols with regards to scheduled medicines and identifying customer needs. This certificate is a nationally recognised industry entry–level qualification. The core units and the electives which PSA offers will develop knowledge and skills in the following areas: pharmacy products including cough and cold, allergy relief, analgesics, gastrointestinal and skin/anti-fungals complying with infection control policies and procedures providing effective customer service identifying situations for referral to pharmacist applying pharmacy protocols to identify and respond to customer needs.
