Centacare’s Certificate III in Business will teach you the practical skills and knowledge you need in order to secure work in a diverse range of roles and industries.

The course is delivered face-to-face from our state-of-the-art training facilities and will enable you to develop skills in a broad range of competencies in various office tasks to prepare you for the workplace.

You can learn:

  • Computer skills and how to use various workplace software systems;
  • How to create a range of workplace documents, spreadsheets and electronic presentations;
  • How to schedule, prioritise and organise daily work tasks;
  • How to work effectively with a diverse range of people;
  • Customer service skills and how to handle complaints;
  • Teamwork skills and how to contribute to workplace innovation;
  • How to organise and manage workplace records and resources; and
  • How to adhere to workplace health and safety requirements.

The course includes 3 weeks’ work experience, which is all organised by Centacare on your behalf.

Certificate III in Business is delivered as part of the Participation Equity program. This course may be free or subsidised for eligible students – please contact us for more information.

The Certificate III in Business qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply a broad range of competencies in a varied work context using some discretion, judgment, and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.  Job roles suitable for this qualification include Customer Service Advisor, Data Entry Operator, General Clerk, Payroll Officer or Work Processing Operator. This qualification is available as a Workplace Traineeship.
