The Certificate III in Accounts Administration provides you with the skills and knowledge to work in the administrative side of accounting, assisting in the management of finances for an organisation. This includes financial data entry, processing accounts and payrolls, producing financials reports and providing customer service in financial transactions. 

Throughout this course, you will learn how to create subsidiary accounts and ledgers, undertake financial calculations and transactions, process payroll and use a computerised accounting system. You will also learn how to produce business documents and reports and learn about best practices for customer service in the financial services sector. 

This qualification would suit candidates wishing to work towards becoming qualified for bookkeeping job roles in financial services and other industries requiring accounting support functions.

Units studied include both XERO and Payroll.

South Regional TAFE is transitioning this qualification to the new training package in 2024. Students will be enrolled into the new units developed to meet current and future industry needs. Fees may vary for courses transitioning to the new training package.
