Plastering is one of the most important trades in the building and construction industry, and a big part of the end look and style of the building. But it's not just decorative — plastering also involves protective coverings for the interior and exterior of buildings and homes. 

From smooth plaster finishes through to textured renders, filling in cracks or covering bricks, plastering happens on a range of surfaces and for a range of reasons. Which means great job variety! Plasterers are needed for new construction projects in both residential and commercial settings, but also on renovation projects. There's also a specialty field for plasterers in restoring historically significant or heritage buildings.
