If you're interested in a career in engineering, the Certificate I in Engineering is for you! With this course, you'll have an opportunity to learn in a simulated work environment and be exposed to an industrial setting through work experience.

The course can include skills and knowledge such as working safely in manufacturing and engineering; manual handling; using hand and power tools; and using workshop machines for basic operations. You'll also learn about setting goals, completing work to schedule, communication skills, and working as part of a team.

This qualification provides a pathway into the Certificate II in Engineering, and is a great head start if you are looking for an apprenticeship or traineeship in the engineering field.
